Discover Moravia was founded by Petra and Jeffrey Short with the simple goal of bringing wine tasting tours in the region which we live in and love to a wider audience.

We only offer wine tours here in Moravia  and our personal approach offers our customers a truly local experience.

During the years we have lived here, we have built up a network of contacts based on our own experience of their services and quality and this is what we offer to our customers – the chance to be a guest of the region rather than a passing tourist.

Moravia is far from being an ‘undiscovered’ wine region. It is very well-known among Czechs, Slovaks and Austrians and offers luxury hotels, restaurants, spas and conference facilities to go with its vineyards and UNESCO monuments.

Moravia lies in the heart of Europe and is a perfect place to rest during a tour of Europe’s ancient states. By train it is about three hours from Prague, one hour from Vienna and Bratislava and less than four hours from Budapest.

Every wine producing region has its own heritage and Moravia is no exception. The traditional architecture, cuisine, costume and music of Moravia are distinctly different to its neighbours’, all bound together by bright colours, a refreshingly relaxed attitude and a love of feasts and celebrations.
