Welcome to Lysa Hora - The Bald Mountain. Lysa is the highest peak in the Beskydy Mountains and the third highest peak in the Czech Republic at 1324 metres above sea level. The trail features an 18 kilometre hike through some steep but not difficult or dangerous terrain, leading to wonderful panoramic views as far as the Tatra Mountains in Slovakia. The start point is accessible by car or train and there are a selection of hotels and restaurants available, as well as one of the region's best brewpubs, if you'd like to try the latest generation of the Czech Republic's world-class beer.
