Karlova Studanka - 'Charles' Well' or Karlsbrunn in German, is a beautiful little spa town tucked away in the Jeseniky Mountains. It boasts some of Europe's cleanest air and people from all over the country come here to take the cure for breathing problems. The town was founded in the late 19th Century and the wooden buildings give it a historical charm all on their own.

The surrounding hills are covered in wild looking forests, offering superb views over the countryside and picturesque waterfalls. The highest peak in the Jeseniky Mountains (Praded) is quite easily accessible from here.
